Information on the management adopted by the company AP Decor S.a.s. of Molinari and C, (hereinafter AP Decor) of sensitive user data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR").

The protection of personal data is a matter of trust and your trust matters to us. In order to make you feel comfortable on our web pages, we strictly adhere to the requirements of the law when processing your personal data. Here we want to inform you about data collection and use of data on our part. The following statement on the processing of personal data will explain to you what data are collected from the web pages and what data we process and use in what way. The data collected as part of the provision of the service may be communicated to:

  •          companies that perform functions that are strictly connected and instrumental to the operations - even technical - of the services of AP Decor, such as suppliers that provide archiving, administrative, payment and invoicing services
  •          bodies and administrative and judicial authorities by virtue of legal obligations

Under no circumstances do we transfer or sell personal data to third parties.

You can obtain information about your data stored with us at any time and for free, as well as exercise your right to correct, block or delete your data. To do this, please contact the contact details above.

If you wish to oppose the detection, processing or use of your data via AP Decor in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act in total or for individual transactions, you may transmit such opposition by email or letter to the contact details indicated above.

2. Collection, processing or use of personal data

Personal data are data on personal or objective circumstances of a determined or determinable individual. This definition includes your name and surname, your age (necessary to grant access only to users of age), your email address and your telephone number required for automated communications relating to orders, as well as data records that you communicate to us during registration or the creation of your customer profile.

2.1 Customer profile

For each customer who proceeds to register with the "Register" function, we create a customer profile, ie a direct access protected by a password on his personal data stored with us. Here you can see, among other things, the data of your orders escaped, in progress and shipped recently, as well as administering your personal data and the newsletter.

The creation of the customer profile is not necessary for the normal consultation of the site, it is necessary only and exclusively to be able to buy one or more products and consequently to be able to provide all the information necessary for order management.

2.1.1 Creating the customer profile

During registration, the following data are mandatory for a customer profile (mandatory data):

  •        your email address
  •        your password
  •        your name
  •        your last name
  •        your date of birth (to verify that you are at least 18 years old)
  •        your telephone number (to be communicated to the courier for deliveries)
  •        consent to data protection provisions

The indication of shipping and billing address is required only if you place orders. For your order we need the correct data with name and surname, address and payment details. We need your email address to be able to confirm the receipt of your orders and shipping as well as to communicate with you in general. We also use your email address as an identification (the registration name) that you need when connecting to your customer profile.

2.12 Use of the customer profile

You can use your customer profile to connect to one of the AP Decor sites.

As long as you do not disconnect from your customer profile, you will remain connected automatically. This function allows you to use a part of our services (eg: 'Wish List') even without reconnecting to the customer profile. For security reasons you will be asked to re-enter your password if you want to change your personal data or if you want to send an order.

2.1.3. Wishlist

On the site you can create and save wish lists in which to insert the products that interest you most. In the customer profile you can view and modify the data entered at any time. This feature allows you to save at your convenience and for the duration that you consider useful, the list of products for you of most interest.

2.2 Detection, processing or use of your personal data

We collect, store and process your data for the complete execution of your purchase, including subsequent warranty procedures, for our services, technical administration, marketing purposes (more information in this regard in point 2.3) as well as to prevent crimes and scams. Your personal data will be passed on to third parties only as permitted by law, including the purposes of contact or billing, for marketing purposes, if you have previously given your consent. For example, as part of the order process, the service providers we provide (for example: carrier, logistics company, banks) receive the data necessary to complete the order and task. The service providers we undertake may use the data thus transmitted only for the purpose of fulfilling their task.

2.3 Use of your data for advertising purposes

In addition to carrying out your purchases on the site, we also use your data for the following purposes: to continuously improve your shopping experience and to make it appropriate to the customer and individual; to be able to communicate with you on your purchases, as well as on certain products or marketing offers; and to recommend products or services that might interest you.

To this end, we use existing information such as, for example, information about the final equipment used by you, your internet connection, operating system and platform, date and time of visit to the site, or the products you have examined as well as information. we receive from you (including information generated or transmitted automatically). We also use the historical data of your orders.

You can object at any time in full or for individual measures to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes.

2.3.1 Newsletter

For the shipment of the newsletter we use the email address you have given us, with the prior consent that you, as the holder of the email address, you have given during registration.

If you do not want to receive our newsletter later, you can oppose it at any time without cost. A communication in textual form to the contact data referred to in no. 1 (eg: by e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient. Naturally, every newsletter edition also contains a link to cancel it. The user also has the right to revoke his subscription to the Newsletter by selecting the appropriate box in his personal area in the "My personal data" section.

2.3.2 Product recommendations by email

If you have made purchases on the site and you have subscribed to the Newsletter, you may receive product offers from us by email. In this way we want to send you information on products in our range which, based on your latest purchases with us, could be interesting for you.

2.3.3 Banner advertising

We use the data collected during your visit to the site to show you the so-called banner advertising. These are advertisements that we place on third-party sites. In general this happens through the use of so-called cookies or pixels. Our goal is to make our advertising proposal more interesting and useful to you, so in banner advertising you will mainly see products that you have already examined on our pages or products that are similar to those that you are interested in (the so-called retargeting). Within banner advertising we operate exclusively with pseudonymised data; Cookies do not contain any information in text that can be read on your data (for example: name or email address).

2.4 How can you get information about the data, modify it, delete it or have a copy?

2.4.1 Access to personal data from your private area and revocation of consent (opt-out)

You can, at any time, view your personal data in your private area. Enter your account and click on the "My Account" section (your name on the top right) and then select the "Sensitive Data" button

Remember that you can revoke the consent you provided at any time by cleaning your browser history and reloading the page.

2.4.2 Export and cancellation of the processing of personal data

To export your personal data (takeout) enter your account and click on the "My account" section (your name on the top right) and then select the "Sensitive data" button.

In the form will be present the buttons to be able to export all the information related to your user from the registration.

In the same form it is reported the link to the Form to be able to send the request for cancellation, this will be done in the expected technical times and in accordance with the retention period explained in the following point 5.

2.4.3. Exercise your rights

Any natural person who uses our service can:

  •          obtain from the owner, at any time, information about the existence of personal data, the origin of the same, the purposes and methods of treatment and, if present, to obtain access to personal data and information referred to in Article 15 of the GDPR
  •          request the updating, rectification, integration, deletion, limitation of data processing if one of the conditions provided for in Article 18 of the GDPR occurs, the transformation into anonymous form or blocking of personal data, processed in violation of the law, including those that do not need to be kept for the purposes for which the data were collected and / or subsequently processed
  •          object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection and processing of personal data provided for the purposes of commercial information or sending advertising material or direct selling or for completion market research or commercial communication. Each user also has the right to withdraw the consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment based on the consent given before the revocation
  •          receive personal data, provided knowingly and actively or through the use of the service, in a structured format, commonly used and readable by automatic device, and transmit them to another data controller without impediments
  •          propose a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority

3. Cookies

Acceptance of all cookies is not a prerequisite for browsing our pages. However, we point out that our site and our services have limited functionality if we are not allowed to insert cookies.

The user can at any time find information on how to check and change the current status of cookies by displaying the appropriate "Cookie Declarations" page.

4. Log file

For each access on the web pages of the site, usage data are transmitted by the respective internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called web server log files. The data series stored in this procedure contain the following data: date and time of the call, name of the site called, IP address, referrer-URL (URL of origin, that of the site through which you arrived on the site in question), the amount of data transmitted, as well as information about the products and the version of the browser used.

We process these logfile data sets to improve and make the site more usable, to identify and remove errors faster and to manage server capabilities. At the same time we use the logfile data series to repel attacks to our computer system, for example those within the so-called distributed denial of service that have the goal of blocking our servers by overloading them with requests.

5. How and for how long will your data be stored?

The retention of personal data will take place in paper and / or electronic / IT format and for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes referred to in point 1, in compliance with your privacy and current regulations.

In the case of active users, the content generated by the user will be stored for 36 months for reasons of security, prevention and moderation of content and / or conduct contrary to the conditions of the service in order to ensure a better quality of the same in collaboration with the Authority.

For purposes of analysis directed to the development and improvement of the service, the personal data of the user may be subject to the same retention period.

For direct marketing and profiling purposes we keep your data for a maximum period equal to that foreseen by the applicable legislation (respectively equal to 24 and 12 months).

Invoices, accounting documents and transaction data are stored for 11 years under the law (including tax obligations).

In the case of the exercise of the right to be forgotten through the request for explicit cancellation of personal data processed by the owner, we remind you that such data will be kept, in a protected form and with restricted access, only for purposes of ascertainment and repression of crimes. no more than 12 months from the date of the request and will subsequently be securely deleted or anonymised irreversibly.

Finally, we remind you that for the same purposes, the data relating to electronic traffic, excluding the contents of communications, will be kept for a period of no more than 6 years from the date of communication, pursuant to art. 24 of the Law n. 167/2017, which implemented the EU Directive 2017/541 on anti-terrorism.

If you do not exercise any active action (for example navigation, searches and / or any other way of using the service) on the AP Decor sites for a period of 27 months, you will be classified as an inactive user and your personal data will be deleted automatically.

6. Web analysis

We use so-called tracking technologies to continuously improve and optimize our offer. For this purpose we use the services of Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel.

6.1 Google Analytics

Google (Universal) Analytics employs methods that allow an analysis of the use of the website on your part, such as so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer. The information created on the use of the website is usually transferred to a Google server located in the USA and stored there. In the case of the activation of IP anonymisation on this website in EU member states and other states that are signatories to the European Economic Area Convention, your IP address will be shortened prior to its transmission. Only in exceptional cases the complete IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.
